centerpiece wedding orange yellow green

Amy Webb takes great pride in making each event special.

We just wanted to write to say how absolutely beautiful – I mean BEYOND our wildest expectations – the flowers were!! They picked up the lovely backdrop of the leaves but yet stood out perfectly – I loved what you did with the sunflowers and the purple callas in the bouquets and how the centerpieces were different – the branch stands turned out beautifully. And the large arrangements at the end of the aisle and the flowers tied to the chairs and the little petals in Amelia’s basket – the details were perfect and tasteful and so happy feeling, which was exactly what we hoped for! I mean it – the flowers at our wedding were the most beautiful I have ever seen and I wouldn’t have changed a thing.

You were such a pleasure to work with – we really enjoyed coming to your house for planning and inspiration and getting to know you and your lovely dog :) Thank you so much for rolling with us when we updated our color scheme and when we had our last minute cancellations. And the fact that you woke up and put together another option just because – you’re amazing!

Thank you for being a true highlight of the process and the day!  We will recommend you to anyone and everyone!!

Wedding at Pippin Hill

Our guests RAVED about the flowers and I mean RAVED at how beautiful was every thing you touched. From the front doors of the Jefferson Room to the massive grand arrangements framing the ceremony to the ballroom ensemble, you created a truly classic, beautiful and memorable look and feel (and aroma!) to Katie and Nat’s wedding. I was honestly overwhelmed when I saw the tall arrangements (and immediately admired how wise you were to maneuver Katie away from the lemons/limes in the vases.) And the head table was so impressive with those amazing candlelabras. And the little details too — the sapphire ribbons on the girls’ bouquets!!! Amy, I would be more than happy to serve as a reference. You may give my name and email address to any client considering your services; it would be my pleasure to share the enormously positive experience we enjoyed with you and your highly professional organization. Lastly, just want to add how your delightful personality made working together a pleasure.

Our flowers for our wedding matched the look and feel of what we wanted perfectly. Amy worked with me to put together what I wanted, even though I knew very little about flowers beforehand, and she made what could be stressful very easy. On the day of the event, everything was seamlessly put together, fresh, and gorgeous. We received many compliments, and I would recommend Blue Ridge Floral to anyone.

Wedding at UVA Boat House

Amy created magnificent wedding table center pieces for our son’s wedding at the UVA Boathouse and the rehearsal dinner. The beautiful & luscious flowers in simple birch holders were perfect for the natural river head setting. Everything the bride & groom wanted. Thank you Amy for being so caring.

I wanted to reach out to you and personally attempt to Thank You and your staff for making my wedding UNFORGETTABLE but no matter how much I try, I couldn’t possibly find all the right words. Everyone, including myself, were SPEECHLESS over the flowers. I want to cry all over again at how STUNNING AND BEAUTIFUL they were!! I mean, you really surpassed what I ever imagined. Every single petal in the wedding was unbelievable. A few people thought the flowers were fake!

I really don’t have words right now to describe how it really pulled everything together to make it an over the top and GRAND wedding. I cannot wait to get the professional photos! Thank you Thank you Thank you a million times over again, you are a TRUE artist!

My son got married this past weekend in Charlottesville, Virginia at King Family Vineyards, with the Rehearsal Dinner at The Farmington Country Club. All of our floral arrangements were created by Blue Ridge Floral Designs of Afton, Virginia. I have never seen a more magnificent display of flowers at any wedding before. The blend of colors and kinds of flowers was incredible and the displays were gorgeous. I did not meet with Amy face to face, but trusted in her knowledge of the venues to make the right choices for me. I was right to trust her as the floral arrangements were perfect and we even used the ones from the Rehearsal Dinner for a brunch on Sunday. I would highly recommend using Blue Ridge Floral Designs for any event in the future.

I have used Blue Ridge Floral Design for all my flowers at Wintergreen Resort for many years. Amy’s florals are beautifully prepared and compliment our natural environment. Her talent is exceeded only by the beauty of the arrangements she creates.

Amy – I want to say that I particularly liked the bridal bouquet which I thought with its soft colors complemented Susanne’s dress so well and the bridesmaids’ bouquets were very appropriate with the dresses. I loved the door decoration, the urns, table decorations—everything was perfect—lots of compliments from guests. You are very talented and I am glad your business is thriving.

Amy Webb is an artist! When I met with her for the first time to discuss my vision for the flowers for our daughter’s outdoor wedding at a local winery, she was receptive to my ideas and full of creative suggestions. She turned my rather vague concept into a spectacular array of gorgeous flowers arranged in a unique way. We decided on colorful wild flowers for the outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour which Amy presented in unusual containers and settings. She has an amazing eye for mixing various colors and varieties of flowers and displaying them in a way that creates a unified look. For the indoor reception, she used only white and green accented with pale yellow to create a sophisticated and beautiful setting. Our guests were taken aback by the splendor of the flowers and even the male guests commented. Needless to say, we could not be happier with the results that Amy achieved for our event and hold her in the highest regard.

After speaking with several florists in the Charlottesville area about my daughter’s wedding, I chose Blue Ridge Floral Design. I’m glad I did. Like many mothers of the bride, I was, of course, anxious about whether the flowers would live up to my expectations, especially since I live almost a thousand miles from Charlottesville. As soon as I entered the UVa Chapel for the wedding, I was overwhelmed with the outstanding arrangements and bouquets Amy provided. The flowers were white tulips, irises, lilacs, tinted purple roses and sweet peas. Immediately after the ceremony, Blue Ridge discreetly and efficiently, moved the arrangements to the Ivy Inn for the reception, transforming it into a gorgeous spring garden. With minimal opportunity for oversight by me, Blue Ridge delivered what I wanted and more than I expected at a reasonable budget. I would recommend them without reservation.

Now that the whirlwind after the wedding has settled a bit, I wanted to write and say a big THANK YOU for the beautiful, elegant, and unique job you did with the flowers on our wedding day. The bouquets, boutonnieres, mothers’ and grandmother’s bouquets were obviously made with a lot of care and attention to detail, and they wedding centerpiece complemented the colors and feel for our wedding perfectly. They were classic, simple, and modern – exactly what I wanted! While everything was excellent, I think the real standout from the wedding were the reception centerpieces. I felt like you really shared my vision for what I wanted and executed it even better than I could have imagined. It was exactly what I had in my head only even more beautiful and striking. They were really different from flowers I had seen before at other wedding receptions, and everything looked fresh and beautiful. You picked flowers that expertly complemented our color scheme of green and white, and the design really popped on the tables. Most importantly, you pulled all of this off efficiently and reliably – easing in and out of the church and reception site setting everything up exactly on time, and you were such a pleasure to work with. From the very beginning you were always friendly, supportive, and laid-back – not shy to bring up your suggestions (the idea of putting the fireplace centerpiece on the breezeway table was absolutely perfect) and always willing to really listen to my ideas. I was really impressed with your work, and I will definitely recommend you to other friends who get married in the area! I wish you all the best in the future, and I hope our paths cross again!

Amy’s flowers for our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding were spectacular! The bride and groom, who were planning this wedding from the west coast, asked me to find someone who would use flowers native to the Blue Ridge and Central Virginia. The vibrant, colorful spring flowers – peonies, irises, azaleas, branches of dogwood – that graced the altar of the UVA chapel and the tables at the reception were just gorgeous. The arrangements were extremely natural looking; and, as requested, very Virginia! The Garden Club friends of the Mother-of-the-Bride are still talking about them.

Thank you soooo much for all of your hard work on our wedding. The flowers were beautiful, the ceremony flowers, our bouquets and boutonnieres were perfect. I unfortunately did not get a chance to even see the cocktail hour but I am sure they were beautiful too. The welcome piece and the center pieces were amazing. They were everything that I had envisioned. Thank you so much for working with us, and meeting us so many times throughout this planning process. Everyone loved the flowers, and thought the berry’s were so cool. My mom tried to take as many centerpieces as she could and I know she is going to do something to preserve them because she loved them so much. I have to say that my favorite touch was the little what I call “Button Flowers”. I am sorry I don’t know the real name, but they have always been my favorite flower and I was soooo happy when I saw them in the arrangements. When ever my mom would take me flower shopping when I was a kid she said that I could pick something out that I could plant, and I always picked those if they had them. It just brought back some great memories for me to see them all throughout the wedding arrangements. Everything was beautiful, and the moss was a huge hit. It was definitely unlike anything I had ever seen before and that was exactly what I was going for. Next time we need flowers for any occasion I will definitely give you a call. Thank you so much!!

We’re back from the honeymoon and down to only a few handful of boxes left to unpack in the new apartment. (That was a short sentence to say sorry that I haven’t written this yet!) You did such an AMAZING job with the flowers for my wedding. I mean, just hit the nail on the head! I know that my idea was sort of off the wall and random, but I was SO pleased to see it in action and it really did make the reception hall complete. I can’t thank you enough!!

I wanted to express my appreciation for the beautiful flowers you arranged for Liz and Dan’s wedding. The ceremony was held outdoors (before the rain started!) so the arrangements on the barrels welcomed everyone and showed off to perfection. The girls’ bouquets were lovely with the delicate peach roses and white peonies. And Liz was so pleased with her white bouquet. Plus everyone loved the delicate aisle hanging flowers.

The tables looked great with the varied lanterns and flowers in whites and corals surrounded by greenery. All arrangements were perfect for the setting and the occasion- a garden wedding under a tent. Thank you for your efforts. I/you received so many compliments!

Someone told me a year ago that if I wanted to cut back on expenses, the flowers could be that item. After having incredible flowers at my daughter’s wedding, I disagree. The flowers create an image as people walk into the venue and they set the tone. Plus it was so fun and easy working with you and Candace.
